Champions Crowned

Labour Day Monday saw the Rookie D and Bantam D championships awarded.

The Corunna Rookie Giants defeated the Mitchell Rookie Astros to win the Baseball Ontario Rookie D Championship held at Glen Mickle Park in Wallaceburg

Over at Andy Johnston Ball Diamond the Kincardine Cardinals overcame an early deficit to defeat the 2017 Bantam D Champs St Mary's in a very exciting game.

Congratulations to all 4 teams on overcoming all the elements to make the finals.

Also Wallaceburg Minor Baseball Association would like to congratulate our Stubby Goat Peewee team on their third place finish in Port Dover over the long holiday weekend.  We would also like to send congratulations to our AarKel Bantam team on finishing third at the Bantam D tournament held in Wallaceburg.  Both teams were ultimately eliminated by the eventual Ontario Champs at their respective tournaments.

A special Thank You to the Wallaceburg Centennial Lions Club on running the food booth over the weekend at Glen Mickle Park.  They saved our volunteers a lot of work by running the food booth over the Labour Day weekend.
